Chat optiont totally frustrating

I have been using Aworded for almost two years and love it. I would give it 5 stars if not for the sooooo frustrating messenging option. It is totally unreliable. I keep receiving old messages over and over again, and miss potentially useful chats from my family.
I hope that the two stars will make the developers aware of the issue and that it needs to be fixed. It truly negatively impacts my using of the software.
